Mid 2009 Macbook pro freezing issues?
A few weeks ago I bought a new macbook pro.
13.3 inches with 2GB RAM.
Whenever I open Photoshop, the beachball loading icon appears on my screen permanently and does not load the program.
Also, having problems with vmware. Constantly freezes the laptop. Even the new itunes freezes the laptop that i need to press and hold the power button to restart the mac.

2.26Ghz C2D
13.3" screen
2Gb RAM
VMware v 2.0
CS3
Snow Leopard 15.6.1
Have had problems with the laptop from day 1 and even after 2 fresh OS installs at the Apple store, the geniuses do not seem be able to fix it.
Any help from more knowledgable people here?
Also, the laptop gets incredibly HOT.
An unusually hot laptop is a sign of a hardware issue.
No amount of re-installation will fix your problem if they didn't check your hardware.
