How to put on hot fix swarovski rhinestones on my ice skating dress?
Some sites say that there is already glue on the back of the rhinestones and all I need to do is iron them on. Some sites say I need to glue them on with special device?
Would I ruin the dress if I glued it on with adhesive or with a hot glue gun? Or is there a special way I need to do it?
How do I put them on? I don't wanna ruin my dress with the heat from the iron.
My dress is made out of: 90% polyester, 10% spandex, 86% nylon

You have to read the package on the crystals. Some come with a glue already on the backing, others don't. If there is no glue, you have to use a special adhesive and you don't need to heat the crystals. (Sobee or
If they're the glue-backed crystals, you need to buy or borrow a special tool called a "hot fix wand." It's like a soldering iron with a special tip that heats up the crystal to melt the glue, then lets you affix it with one hand to the fabric.
Hot glue will be too thick and lumpy plus it comes off easily in the wash.
Don't use a regular iron - it will melt the spandex and scorch the fabric.
