can i use a singer 99 to sew nylon straps webbing?
I'm looking to sew nylon webbing to make belts here is a link

will an old 1956 singer 99 do the job or do i need something more heavy duty
A circa 1956 Singer is about as heavy duty as you are going to find. As long as it is in good working condition and the belts are not slipping.
Can't tell what the thickness is of the webbing on the link, but I have not had any problem with the webbing sold at JoAnn fabrics. My sewing machines are not considered heavy duty (industrial).
