How do I stop this from happening(XP problem)?
When I turn on my XP this happens..
You know,those icons that appear on your icons sometimes,instead of the usual icon?
It's small,white,and it looks like a paper folded on the edge?
And,it has a small window with symbols inside?
How do I stop that from happening,none of my windows work when that happens.
I have to turn off my PC,and hope for it to turn back to normal..
No,it's not safe mode.
Don't shut off my PC correctly?
I hold the button..
And,just a few moments ago,I pressed the Start button,and automaticlly turned it off,and it still happened.
Oh..Okay.
But,wait,aw darn it!
I just System Restored my PC,I don't know if it will go to a normal point..
Not sure I know what you are talking about. Are you talking about 'safe mode'?
You go into 'safe mode' when you don't turn off your computer properly.
Shut it down properly and you won't have that problem when you start it up.
