Polypro Webbing Strap
What is the difference......?
Ok, I am making tote bags and I am using webbing for the straps.
But when I went to buy some there was 2 different kinds, Polypro and Nylon. What is the difference? Which one would be better for tote bags?
I need to know ASAP!

Thank you SOO much for answering my question! But one more question, which would you reccomend for tote bags? They are small so I don't think the strength is that big of deal, but I am not sure.
Since the bags are small, buy the cheapest or -
Why not make the straps from the fabric.
Decide on the length, then cut two strips, 4" wide x the length. This will give you a finished width of 1".
It would be best to cut this from the length of the fabric apposed to across the width of the fabric.
There is less stretch lengthwise.
Fold each strap in half, wrong side in.
Press so there will be a crease down the middle of the length of fabric.
Open and press each of the long edges in to the middle crease (no more raw edges).
Press again and top stitch down each long edge.
