Plastic Snap Tape

my gf gave me a bracelet that says her name. it has a plastic inside and it snapped in half. i put tape on it but the rest is still breaking. she has another bracelet of the same type and she offered to give me it but i thought it would be bad to take it. girls do not tell me that im a bad bf because i treat her very well and the bracelet is very delecate. also, it was made in dominican republic so i cant fix it here.
questions:
what should i do if my current one snaps and breaks complety? will she get mad?
should i ask my gf for another bracelet (im afraid she will get mad at me. will she?)?
is it really a big deal or and im just being parinoid?
also, on top of the bar of plastic, it has yarn and then her name is sowed in a diffrent color
Hard to say if she'd get mad b/c I don't know her. I personally would not. It's bound to happen to almost anything like that. I was given a ring that was purchased in Greece and it broke. I kept the ring (or rather the pieces of the ring), but it's not wearable and the giver wasn't upset. Granted, in my case, I'm the girl so maybe a little different than your situation...but, I don't think it's that big of a deal...and I don't think anyone could accuse you of being a bad b/f w/you looking into it this much....sounds like you do treat her pretty well.
