How do I connect my headset to a pc?
I've got a one piece headset/microphone. There are 2 leads. One jack is red and the other is pink. When I connect it to my pc, do I put the red jack in the "mic" socket and the pink jack in the headset socket, or vice-versa?

Previous answers suggesting that you try it both ways are correct.
I just checked my own recently bought (Maplin) one piece headset/microphone, and light blue jack proved to be the earpiece and the yellow jack the microphone! Looks as if there is no "standard" colour coding.
