Does finding something in my canned drink constitute a lawsuit?
While drinking a freshly opened can of Pepsi, I found a piece of soft plastic. It was roughly 2 - 3 inches in diameter, and rolled up inside. It's hard to tell what it could have came from but was obviously a piece of a larger piece of plastic. The black build up on the edges concerned me.
Does this constitute a lawsuit? Because I am not happy about it.

In and of itself, no. You would have to show liability. What did you lose? Did you contact the bottler? Or the company? If you could "discover" others who found the same thing it could become a negligence case because they were informed and failed to remedy the problem. This was the fact of the infamous McDonalds coffee lawsuit.
